Bike: 1990 Ducati 750 Paso

I finally got round to installing new clutch plates and springs to my 750 Paso ( monster 600 clutch kit) fitted them and went for test ride and there was a loud squeal when i operated the clutch lever but the clutch worked without any sign of slip, so when i got home i decided to investigate the squeal and i had a look at the slave cylinder piston, i removed it from the cover and pulled it apart by gently prising the oil seal out from round the button followed by removal of wire circlip which enabled the button to be removed there were 12 small ball bearings in the lower part of the bearing ( inside of the piston) these looked dry so i cleaned them and regreased them and assembled the bearing back in the piston, fitted the circlip and seal and reinstalled it back into the clutch cover , had to bleed the clutch which seemed to take an age but got there in the end and had an operative clutch again so off for test ride 2 and it all goes as it should with no problems so i must have done some good with the bearing as i have been riding it round for a few days and at the moment it is working well hopefully it stays that way .
