It was about time otherwise I think I may have forgotten how to ride the Monster...
Dave (id.Hicks) suggested that we I ride out to Sturminster Newton and he would follow - or lead - with the kids in the car. It worked! I was happy having my own personal support team - because I was a little, if truth be told, nervous

But it was fine! Wet, mud on the road, through towns, on dual carriageways, on very bendy roads

- but I didn't fall off

. For sure, had any of you lot been following you might have wondered who the numpty was - but I did get better, honest!
So now I'm wondering when I can take Mr Hicks out for lunch next week - so that we can have another go. Maybe the Seven S's near Langport - so I can get some more bendy road practice (didn't do much of that on my test).
I wonder what the weather forecast is...
