Not sure what your point was in pasting the insurance document, as it's based on the information you gave them online. I was suggesting that before that information process there was probably some small print concerning the assumption that bikes are unmodified.
I've now gone to the Bennetts website. On the very first page of 'Your motorcycle insurance quote' is a link, top-right, which says 'Insurance checklist'. Click that and it says:
"If your motorcycle is unusual, modified or simply not listed on our quotes system then please call us on 0800 056 1618, as we may still be able to provide you with cover."
So, by proceeding with the online quote you will be deemed to have affirmed that the bike was not "modifed". As I originally anticipated...

It's for the convenience of owners of unmodified bikes! (Imagine how complex the software would have to be to cover every possible bike mod.)
