Since Paivi first mentioned this last year I have been watching the Ducati site for news of the DRE dates, even checked out costs of flights and hotels. Ducbird will be okay as she is in the beginner’s class but is so tall she would be able to ride any Ducati anyway (she is so lucky!! ) but I doubt she will go on her own.

So once again I am going to miss out because of my stature, unless I can get away with gluing blocks to the soles of my boots as there is no way I will be able to ride either the Hypermotard or the Multistrada.

Could this be indirect discrimination as fewer women than men will be able to ride either of these bikes? On that note I assume the majority of Chinese nationals would not be able to attend either, what a large market Ducati is missing out on!

I know I am joking here but I am really disappointed about missing out on this. I would love to have done this especially if it was on the new 696, it might have turned into a test ride for my next bike but now I will never know.
