I failed my DAS the first time as I stalled it pulling out onto a main road (fair enough I though as that is pretty dangerous). To practice before my next attempt I hired a Honda 125 for a week and commuted to and from work. This really improved my riding and I would certainly advise doing this to anyone about to take their DAS. Hope this helps
