I know I said they were bomb proof, but you're taking it to extremes!
I think mine would be a bit tooooo hot on the feet for Iraq, but I know where you're coming from.
I live near Plymouth and have a few mates who are 'Boot Necks' and they also swear by Alt-Berg's.
I've never heard a bad word about them, as I said before mine have never let water in, which is more than I can say about many other makes of boot that I've owned before!.......
