Thanks for responding. I should have said in my first post, the clutch cylinder and that area is dry, as is the countershaft. I feel like an idiot because there is oil all around that area, and mostly around the window and down-ward from there. And the outside of the case around the clutch cylinder IS wet with oil. When I pulled off the clutch cylinder the area around it, including the engine side was dry. I pulled off the countershaft cover, and no fresh oil there either. I wish that was it, as you say, an easy fix.

At first I thought the veritcal cylinder base was leaking, but that's dry. I think the air turbulence was slinging oil around enough to get oil in the vicinity.
