Was in the market for a back protector for a while and last week was up Da Narth (or Northern ireland as it is also known) in the Hein Gericke shop in Newry. I tried ona few but the Aegis was sweet. It is made of a large number of articulated paltes that can be adjusted all sorts of ways and go from 5-7 plates for different sizes. It is very light and comfortable and easily goes under my indecently fitted Dainese jacket with ease.

I was a bit worried cause when i got it, I couldn't find much info on it but the web is awash with reviews now.

It is level 2 certified for energy absorption.

Very happy I am.
