No worries mate.

All depends what you are looking for in terms of entertainment.

If you are looking for a nice Irish pub for the tourists, in the Temple Bar the Oliver Saint John Gogarty (named after a writer) is pretty good for the green and the diddley-aye music.

A more traditional pub is the Long Hall on South Great Georges Street, which has original Victorian era decor and good Guinness.

If you are looking for a trend spot, right in the city centre is South William Street which has a few uop market type places such as Dakota and the South William.

As regards stuff to do, again, depends on your tatese. The writers walks around Dublin are good and properly dotted with pub visits!

The National Gallery has some surprisingly good stuff if that's your bag. The tour of Dublin Castle is entertaining, going from the Viking foundations to the Medieval battlements and on to the throne room where a certain chap called George parked himself for a while.

For bike related stuff, there's not a lot in the city centree I'm afraid, as most of the big guys have relcoated to the outskirts of the city for more space.

Worth a look here: InDublin - Dublin's largest directory of pubs, clubs, restaurants and up-coming events for some event stuff and it would cover venues too.

Sorry I can't be more help really, not been out much in the city since having kids! It's all i can do to stay acquainted with me bike!

Cheers,
A
