I'm not sure of the wisdom in allowing Mrs H loose on a powered two-wheeler.
Mrs H is a lady of, shall we say 'interesting' mechanical sympathy. She tends to regard the clutch in her car as something of an on/off switch, and the red line on the rev counter clearly means "Change gear here"

Even our dog insists on wearing a crash helmet when she takes him out in the back of her car. In fact I do the same, I find it slightly less scary to travel in the back with the dog. We pass the time quite happily licking the nice cold glass & leaving noseprints on the windows, anything to keep us from seeing what's really going on.
As an IAM observer I once gave her an advanced driving lesson. Once being the operative word.
