Have I missed something?

My S2R1000 had a servo assisted starter. Push and leave it to start on its own.

The 1098 & 848 I originally test drove were traditional starters and so now is my new 848.

Dealer never mentioned it and started the bikes as though they were non assisted; no mention of it in the owners manual either.

Faulty bike(s) or as it should be?
