Can you not take the standard cans along if you have rather loud ones fitted. I'm always amazed that the bigger 4 valve stuff passes sound checks but it always seems to. My 583 SS makes 104 db, but I've seen 1098's pass with no probs at Cadwell and other circuits, plus other rather loud Ducati's. Personally I'd be gutted if a DD bike was louder than my 1098 (if I had one) but they do seem to be.
