I've commute every day into Westminster on a scooter and have taken the Hyper in on the occasional dry day.

Pros: Great view from riding position - very fast - brilliant fun to ride - other commuters get out of the way when they hear you and they certainly do with a race exhaust.

Cons: On a 12 mile journey only get into 3 gear a handful of times and rest of time is spent in 1st and 2nd - standard mirrors slow me down in central London because I can't move in and out of small spaces quickly. Have tried closing mirrors whilst filtering but mirrors are essential in central London.
Mounting mirrors in the usual place look a good option.
