Depends how much splashing around in puddles you want to do - I have a 5 year old pair of plain ol' Vetebras and use Nikwax on them and they've always served me well in the wet. Dunno how 'ot n fetty the full wets get when it's really hot though

(By the way - I have now bought a pair of Oxtars or TCX as I think they're now called. They fit well but I have yet to wear them on the bike.)
