Last time i got an daylight mot the requirements were....
Legal No plate (obviously)
Rear reflector
Horn
Speedo (stricktly speaking this is not a requirement for the MOT, but IS a legal requirement for riding on the road, so some MOT testers may try to fail it if you dont have one, but if they knew the rules properly the bike would pass without one).
The crucial thing is that for a bike to be eligible for a daylight MOT is must NOT have any part of a lighting system fitted, if it has ANY part fitted (including the indicator switch) it falls under the standard MOT regs.
My old racebike had a brakelight fitted (for my own safety on the road) and I disconnected and taped over the lens which was sufficient to make it eligible for a daylight MOT.
