Much like 888SP owners!
I'd still sell my Mother to buy one though!
They look and sound awsome in the flesh IMO.

Yes, it's about time the manufacturers came clean regarding 'dry' (ahem!) weights and power output figures. So much tosh is bandied about. 170+hp is waaay less than the "..200hp @ the back wheel" (as quoted by a factory official on the last video I watched) - but it doesn't have the same marketing clout, does it?
The only 'dyno measured' figures I know of with regard to 888SPs are those quoted by the various road test articles I've read - and they're printed somewhere else on this site I think (or the DSC). They're down on the factory claimed figures, I know, but not by much. (Didn't Jasper have his 888 dynoed before the mods? What did it produce? I can't remember

)
Having said all that, I do know that my RC30 is making just 112bhp, and I know it would leave my 888 for dead in any given situation. Much of this may be down to its overall balance/chassis superiority, but for the life of me it feels faster everywhere! Maybe Ducati's
cavalli are just a bit less responsive than H*nda's
