Gonna have to get across to the island next year. Got the engine in the frame and managed to spark it in to life yesterday!!!
Only ran it for 10 minutes then changed the oil (pain in the bum because my headers cover the sump plug) So now I can tie wrap the electrics to death (Battery is on the way out so gonna get an Odessey) Just need to finish the smaller bits n bobs (the ones that take the most time) Then get to ride the bike (before the next rebuild.
Hope to get a damaged ST3 next month reckon the motor will fit in the frame with out to much trouble. Then get Chris to work his magic (110BHP Superlight
) Either mount the rad above the front cylinder and cooler in the nose cone but this is a winter project need to get the bike running as she is...... the mods will never stop......
