Its an awsome, almost emotional experience. 13 miles of twist / turns and blind bends. Spectators wave at you from the grandstands - its great. Rossi for a day !
The concentration levels are immense as at this time of year it'll be very busy. I went into a bend a little to quick, dropped to 2nd gear and let the clutch out a bit quick as I was running out of road. Back end went twitchy and so did mine. You cant afford to crash your bike as its your transport to get home - so with that fact lingering in the back of my mind I was probably over cautious - but I lived to tell the tale. Its an experience that has to be done at least once. Oh yeah and all of the old wives tales are true !
Not just that statement if you f***up you are responsible for trackdowntime i.e lost revenue. You are bound by German traffic law also as on public days it is not a race track but a public one way toll road.

Peops will pass you like you have stopped just be in awe of them as they have been going many years. Don't try and keep up stay in your comfort zone.

Then you will come home on your bike to your families.
