Really interesting thread seeing as I will be doing my first track day in a few weeks.

Hopefully I will start to put some of the theory into practice...maybe!

I am a complete novice, but a couple of instances I think I may have experienced this 'feel' or 'feedback' sensation. once was when banking in on a roundabout....for a fraction of a second it felt like the front was just about to slide away. I stood the thing up pretty smart and **** myself.

Now the only question for me is was I pushing the tyres too far? I doubt it, more interesting is trying to identify what I had done wrong. Or even if I was anywhere near an off. Sometimes it seems like I will have to ride for an eternity untill I fully understand and appreciate the limits of the bike and tyres.

I hope the track day will start to shed some light.
