i just had my first service and spent ages asking questions and ringing round the houses, the lads on this site give great advice. Heres my experiences.
Motoline are just down the road from me too, i picked up a rear puncture ages ago and seeing as i wanted to do oil and filter change i popped down to pick up a few things and ask questions about oils etc, the guys there were really professional, made me feel at home especially as i dont look like your average ducati owner. They repaired the tyre over my lunch break and gave me sound advice for the work i wanted to do on the bike. The only down side is that they are expensive.
Just had my 12,000 service (but with out a fork refresh), Motoline wanted silly money, i enquired at pro twins who were cheaper but not by much, i didnt go over to them as some guys my parents know in the industry didnt recommend it. I would have used Moto Rapido but they are just too far away. I went up to essex to Tec Moto, who were really good, got some change from £550 and that included brake pads on top of everything. Nice people of obviously know what they're talking about and they gave me a lift to and from the station.
