It makes me wonder how short-sighted Dorna are. Pretty much everyone involved in the sport predicted that the 800s would be highly strung and have huge corner speed - at least in comparison to the 990s. This is motorcycle racing, people are going to fall off and sadly get injured. Making it 'safe' is fine but it can only ever be so safe. There comes a point where the racing suffers and that - racing - is why they are all involved, and getting paid, in the first place anyway. Of course nobody wants to see racers getting injured but the next time they change the rules they should make it right, whatever that means. Electronic aids must be controlled, tyres must not be the deciding factor in races, racing fans want real racing back.
