Do you want to flog your standard 1098 handlebar grips? I would be interested in buying them.

Oh, the easiest way to remove handlebar grips is by using an oil can with a flexible plastic nozzle. Push the nozzle up between the bar and grip. Then as you pull it back out release a very small amount of oil. Grab the grip and twist. The grip will then come off easily without having to cut it off. Obviously, every trace of oil needs to be removed before fitting your new grip. Wipe off the excess, them clean with surgical spirit/meths and few times and allow to air dry.
