are you sure you need it lowered? I'm 5'7 and did not struggle to touch the floor even with preload on and ride height up, on slopes i'd need to drop it on one side but it was easy to do. I now own a GS and even with the lowered seat its higher than a multi.

any long travel bike feels more wallowy, it doesn't feel as secure as a sportbike but you soon get used to it. a gs is no different although the telelever front end does seem to limit "feel" . I owned a standard and an S multi, if i was to buy again i'd go for the standard suspension, i never felt as comfortable on the ohlins, try both before going for an S.....
