Is your bike a 'R' version 749 or has it had an after market race rep paint job?
If thats the case I'd ring a few race rep paint shops and see what it would cost to get panels repaired it you was to damage them..this way you can see if its worth insuring the bike as a rep or a standard BIP or S (if it's not an 'R')

Thats what I'd do if I had a standard Duke with an after market paint job.....
I would just worry about the market value of the standard bike and if the fairings got damaged get them fixed myself.......

Panels/tanks etc are so easy to come by at the moment........ :wink:
