PS, they have an 'Experience Centre' in Abingdon. So, you go along to check out or maybe measure whatever appliance you're considering. And if you like, you can cook on whatever unit you fancy, dishwash a sample bit of stubborn crockery, or even do a round of washing or tumble drying. Duly convinced, you go to order at the front desk, and they say, we don't actually sell them here, if you go online or look in the brochure you can find somewhere who does. How magnificently cocky is that? It's all very graciously done, and the absence of hard-sell - along with the tell-tale confidence that you'll go away and buy one, without being wrestled onto the dotted line - is deeply impressive.
