Also changed cambelts ,balanced carbs and checked shims and they well in tolerence. After seeing the video of the guy changing his belts I saw its no different to changing belt on the Rotax engines so bike now fettled and fine.Nice and easy to work on so bonus.
Only thing on it is still can`t get the trip to spin and reset.Gave it a spray and a wiggled but still no go,seems jammed in the speedo as cable is free , is this a common issue? but hey, I can live with that..
Will just mention a method I use in changing belts, I cut the belts around half way with craft knife and remove leaving a half width of old belt in situ. Slide new belt on half way on pullys then cut rest of old on off and push home. A 45degree twist for tension.

That idea for changing the belts is a belter :P I will give that a go when I do mine end of next summer. Was going to do valve clearances and shims myself this month but I have bottled it and will take it to the garage. I will learn how to do it though. To scared of doing something badly wrong.
Must meet up sometime for a spin.
