I love this forum mainly for the fact it has given somewhere to vent my grief. Any other Ducati forum would be argueing the toss because thier beloved company is invincible and never makes a bad bike.

I had a flick through two and couldn't find anything about a longterm Sportclassic, I'll still write to them though. Only stupid thing is a very kind mate has taken it upon himself to very kindly write to Bike and MCN for me. He has just got internet access so is going over the top writing emails etc....

Also I just remembered something else stupid, Ducati told the dealer when they told him that I has neglected the bike that I can take them to court if I want, when I met the rep I told him that I didn't want to take them to court and never would. These people are surposed to be sorting my bike out yet they aren't even talking to each other.

And other thing with the pipes that the mechanics fitted. The bike now refuses to idle above 900rpm when cold and stalls all the time as if the automatic choke isn't working. When it's warm it jumps between 900 and 1200rpm and half the times I roll up to junctions it stalls. It's running hot, rather then 70-80 it's now around 100-110 in winter, and I know they're open pipes but it shouldn't bang and pop as much as it does.
