Credit to you for a superb thread.

I have modified my sub frame to adapt from Mono to Bip and vice versa without changing the frame. Honesatly, a bit of TLC and careful grinding with an angle grinder gives superb results. I don't know why Ducati has not thought of this themselves? I can convert my bike to Mono from Bip in just under 20 mins. Ok it means modifying the steeel sub frame but once done you have the choice of both with minimum fuss.
