I've changed the seals on my 851/916 special, that's fitted with a magnesium 955 corsa alternator cover/case.
I belive the parts are the same as your Paso, it's quite easy but you'll have to drain the coolant and remove the case, as you have to pull the impeller which's held in place by a circlip that sits inside the cover, before you can change out the seals.
You must remove the small inspection cover which is held in place by to countersunk allen screws. Then you will need a puller for the cover, Ducati make a special tool,i have one of these now but made one myself before, from a flat piece of steel with 3 holes drilled in it and a large nut welded around the center hole, the 2 outer holes bolt to the case and a large bolt is the wound through the welded nut onto the end of the crank which then pulls the cover off.
Remember to remove the gear leaver and all the bolts holding the case on :wink:
