Having the 1098 as a spare does reduce my sympathy for you just a little!
Seriously though, a bugger to have your trip spoilt but at least it's getting fixed. The chances of ferry crossing damage scared me off this year so we took the tunnel so we could keep an eye on the bikes the whole time!
