EDZ Underwear (Anyone tried them?)

Guys,

Going touring in summer and wearing leathers was just wondering if these(edz one piece under suit) helps stop you boiling when the weathers hot and freezing when its cold.

Cheers

Phil

I've got some, good at keeping you cool and not sweaty in the summer, but they need a bit of help in the winter with other layers.

They work for me - I think any similar base layer will do pretty much the same job.

I've got some of the summer trouser one and they do stop you feeling as sweaty when its hot.
They wick the moisture away from your skin and dry faster than cotton.

I get anything like that from these guys -> Under Armour® » United Kingdom » Men's Sports Equipment, Performance Athletic Apparel, and Sportswear

I have tested their stuff in the desert and the arctic and can highly recommend them.

excellent for under leathers! work well in both warm and cold conditions, although the only issue i have with them is the zip is a bit close to the crown jewels so to speak!!

ive modded mine so the zip doesnt come down as far!!!

Doesn't that depend on where you keep your crown jewels?

High up or low down?

I have a set and they're best for summer use to be honest, making taking off and putting on leathers when you're hot far easier. Not so hot in winter though and you need to rely on layers like rockjock said

I have used them and recommend them. Made getting the one piece leathers on a doddle ( I had a sort of long sleeved T-shirt and longjohn combination)The only downside I found was they're apt to pull threads and look a bit tatty when they got too close to the velcro on my leathers.

I seem to recall a post a while back where Helly Hansen were put forward as making good alternatives too.

I use a one piece suit by Receka.
They have always done me proud and are quite warm in winter but need another top half layer from about 8Deg. C down... Its great in Summer.
I have a 2nd suit by them, which is meshed from armpits down the underside of each arm, which is even better in the Summer.

I use EDZ - as others have said - good in the summer - not brilliant in the winter - additional layer required!

I use North Face base suits in the summer. When I'm not going commando, that is...

Always found my 1 piece EDZ suit good, not great for warmth but the fact it was one piece and didn't ride up like a 2 piece under 1 piece leathers if you know what I mean, Cumbriam company aswell so thumbs up from me, although I think KNOX are also doing one now, another Cumbrian company
