Question Are these Ducati Jackets good?

DAYTONA BIKERWEAR CO.

Found someone who mentioned this site for Ducati leather jackets in all sizes. Are these old stock? Other licensed stuff?

Anyone order from them?

I'm fairly certain that these are not genuine Ducati jackets, but copies with the word Ducati on them. Can't speak for the quality, but price seems low enough to be worried.

Thumbs up Thanks. Any good online shops that stock Ducati leathers?

Thanks for the info. I'm also pretty sure they look like non-legit stuff- as the text looks wonky at best.

As a follow up- can anyone recommed some online stores that sell Ducati Leathers & Jackets besides the Ducati stores- as they dont have my size. (Im usually a US size 35- so would be a S or XS depending on the jacket cuts.)

Can anyone tell me how the Ducati Smalls are really? Are they like the US 34-35? Which i guess is UK 44? If the sizes are ok- than I may order something small from Ducati.

I recently got a 1980 Ducati Pantah 500 SL- so am partial to the retro style jackets.

Genuine Ducati leather jackets are made by Dainese, and the fit tends to be on the snug side.....

I don't think they are all made by Dainese. Some of their retro stuff was made by M-Tec(h) (or some name like that), and I'm sure some of their other clothing is other stuff thats just been branded.

But the jackets in the link above are $hite!

Cool Another ebay shop! and helmet question

Thanks for the other link. Will see what they have.

Found another ebay shop that has various leather jackets. Some buyers have written good comments- but pics look very different from the Ducati websites. The "Old Time" jacket has different letter text size and has different tab closures for the collar!

eBay My World - airx-sports

One of my friends said for me to just hop a train or flight and go down to Bologna to the Ducati outlet store!

What Ducati helmets are built smaller in size - the Arai or the Suomy? (meaning what will make me look less like a bobble head!).

Read somewhere that Shoei makes the smallest in size?

If you want a genuine Ducati jacket go to a Ducati store or to Grand Prix Legends........anywhere else you are risking sub-standards clones. I've no experience with helmet sizing other than knowing I have an Arai shaped head.......try going to a local bike shop and find out which type of helmet fits you best...........the fit is more important than the style, colour etc etc.

Arai do an extra small, in fact they do an XXS but it's only in a limited range of colours.

satyarod, where are you, are you UK based? you mentioned US sizes so while it's helpful giving out UK store information it might not be what you need!

Talking Helmet sizes-

1) I was just wondering what helmet brand makes the smallest and most compact in shape? Meaning the outside shell. (XXS is the head size right. I can wear a Small size Helmet with no problem. XS and I can't breathe!)

For example I was told that Shoei helmets make the smallest meaning that the shell is the most compact and smallest on the head. For example their size M is smaller on the outside than Brand X M sizes, etc...

2) Out of the Ducati branded helmets- Arai or Shuomy- which one is the smalest and most compact on the head?

For example if I take size Small - which helmet will be physically the smallest shell on the head. Im 5'6 but slim- so want to avoid looking like a bobble head!

I'm in Vienna, Austria- but am used to US sizes.

Just go to a shop and try them on, if it fits and you like it, job done.
