Last year mine was 40 minutes.

It did include walking the U-turn and riding it.

Duci can tell you first hand but I am sure it is 40 mintues. The instructor follows on a bike (or car if his bike has broken down...)

Don't worry about the test just get some more lessons under your belt and you will be fine.

So you are on a 500 already - go girl there will be no stopping you

Just think of it as another lesson and you will be fine. I am glad you have moved on from the 125 - I feel so much safer on a bigger bike than those 125's.

So when are you booking your test? Done your theory yet?

my theory is 19th june, would have been next week but i had to change it. I have another lesson on 7th June, the guy said it wont take long. He said I ride like i've been riding for years, but I need to brush up on little things and break some bad habits.

I feel a lot better about it with that lesson behind me and my practice today.

Evening...

brilliant news your on a 500 yeaaaaaaa much
better and feels safer than a 125

my test lasted 30 mins.. out with an examiner
on his bike. its the fastest 30 mins your out and
back in before you no it...
take as long as you need for lessons i did total of
8 hours riding..
just needed to remember indicator cancel and plenty
of life savers gave up on u turn but did it on the day
on a road i had never been on before

As for the theory if you are already a car driver that
makes things easier but learn all you can on the
hazard perception you get a dvd when your theory test
date comes through.

Now i have passed my test is now when im learning thats
a different story...

Now go get practising and revising and THE BEST OF LUCK

Thanks Ducbird, watch how you go. I remember it took me 2 years to learn to drive after passing my car test. I have been reading for my theory. I think I'll go out today and get a disc for my perception test.

Happy riding. Bring on the sun.
