Took my test today and......
Failed.
I am not totally gutted as it was on something I can put right ready for the next one in about 2 weeks time.
One was signaling right when navigating a LARGE island as I was going straight on, and the second was following too close to vehicle infront, was first time in the wet as well.
But other than that everything else was good, even the U-Turn which I have been struggling with ALL week and today I just about managed to pull it off.
So, I have to do it all again but I'm comfortable with my level of riding now and know exactly what I have to do next time round, rain or no rain.
So I "Hope" to see you midlanders on the black stuff soon
Stu

Bad luck, mate, but at least neither is a biggie. They're the kind of stuff that you can do with a little extra concentration. Should have told him that you're using the London following distance!

Hard luck mate! still sounds like your attitude is spot on. Had you had a particularly good day and sailed through it, you may have been a bit overconfident on your first ride. This way you know you are fallible.
It does seem to be a habit with people nowadays though to signal right on a roundabout when going straight on. Why do that? its misleading for other people.

Very. Sometimes she thinks she's a race bike, sometimes she is convinced she's a nippy little scooter.
