Bullseye - I think that's quite right. I have the same impression: there's a clan mentality and they're looking to be persuaded to admit people to it, so long as that can be reconciled with their basic safety. I don't think car examiners think in quite the same way.

Congrats
I can't really offer any advice for the DAS as i passed mine so long ago {17 yrs} that i really don't remember it too well {well, i remember the test but any tips i may have used} also it has changed a lot since i did it.
I guess the likes of Stu 2K7 {and others} who passed recently are the ones to help here.
All the best for test day.

Dix, well done on the CBT. When is the DAS test, btw? You do realise that you have to buy a virtual round of drinks when you pass , don't you?

ahh i bet you had your visor down gignt you lol, its not often i have mine down to be honest..
..now for your test there is one massive piece of advice for you.
RELAX!!!
just drop your elbows and shoulders ok and it will make you relaxed and not rigid, then you will be at one with the bike!!!
Good luck, not that i think you will be needing it!

Passed in June and lifesavers are important but do not feel like a 'learner'.
On the road because you are probably already a good driver/rider and just improving
things.
Sounds cliched but enjoying ride really helps
Good luck
