To continue my thread jacking...I failed today
I buggered up the U turn which was a shame as I'd just completed 15 or so with no worries. The rest of test went really well however with two minors so its obvious what I have to practice before the next attempt!
Well done dix17. Must be a great feeling! Have a beer on me. Best Regards,
Ed

1_POB...Sorry, my previous post was not meant for you, it was for Dix17, but got a bit out of phase. Sorry about the mishap, but if you have done 15 good uns, it can only be test nerves . If that was the only thing, you should find the restest a doddle. Good luck with that..

Congratulations Dix!!!
Commiserations 1_POB - I know the feeling, I put me foot down on theU turn on my 2nd test. It's easily done and now you know what to expect the next time.
Get the next one booked as soon as you can, get in there.

I've just read your post where you said you have passed, and it said about you picking up your bike on saturday, I presume it's a 695 by your info in the avatar bit, and all i can say is........
I'm not jealous,I'm not jealous,I'm not jealous,I'm not jealous
OK, maybe I am a little jealous, lol.I have yet to get any work, to start getting some money together for the S2R 800 I want to get.At least I was able to throw away the L plates on my CG.
As I said earlier, well done, and enjoy the freedom of the road.
Andy

My instructor had me doing them on narrow roads, often on an incline & one esecially with a wicked camber. When I'd passed he explained that he always taught them of horrendous roads so that when it came to the real thing, it would seem easy.
Other than that, exaggerate your observations, don't forget your "lifesavers", and make progress!
Oh, and as Stu says, enjoy the ride, you're out on a bike after all, can't be bad!
Good Luck!

Hey Rob, I did mine in Northwich too. Same thing for me, skinny little roads in my lessons but a big wide one in the test. Where did you have lessons?
