Z1300 with sidewinder and L plates.
Only joking !!
Honda cg125 in 1984. Fab little bike - would run for years on a tank of gas.
Got back from test, and promptly insured and went for a ride on my Yamaha XS1100 i'd bought from a friend and stored - mega performance with tea trolley handling.

Suzuki GS500; battle-scarred old training school workshorse, made of pig iron.

ps: after I passed, I gave it a cuddle.

Triumph TR25W, 250 single descended from the BSA C15......heap of junk! It was back when they just observed you from afar then jumped out and you emergency stopped. No chance of a stoppie in those days (1974) and you couldn't square-off the tyre as it was already square!!!
I was just a boy at the time

Had a Lambretta 175 in around 1970. think it was an LT but cant remember - isnt the SX the 'GT' (for want of a better description) version ?
Did yours have loads of mirrors and spots and a tank aeriel with a tiger tail (free with Esso petrol) at the top - mine was plain, no side panels even. I owned it jointly with a friend and used it to go to school in sixth form.

Not me Andy, I was always a bit of a rocker. Mine was just painted matt black and flourescent orange - it came like that and was far better than walking !!
