Slight slip up at "the lodge"

BSB Oulton Park - Mon 5th May, Race 1 (crash 1)

I was there your honour, dodgy handshakes all over the place, rolling up their trousers and bikes following suit...

I won't say enjoy - that's not right - but try and experience the sequence of first greasy corner from the grid and Mr Rizla rolling up the joint in front of thousands.

Fortunately no-one was badly hurt and the restart gave way to a fantastic race.

Especially as Leon Morris (team Brookspeed #10) won a 3rd place podium in the Daily Star Privateer Cup (see other pics in this topic area)

All the best - moose

It reminds me of the pics performance bikes use to publish of some of the incidents at their Frenzys track days in the 90s....

you are correct Miss Moderator - I have taken no notice what so ever of the fact (I must have been a tabloid journalist in a previous life).....

I was prompted to write the "slip up at the lodge" strapline due to the first two fallers shaking hands after their brief encounter and it made me think of the rolled up trouser leg department and I just got myself all misdirected!

Do you accept virtual apologies?

And accept that it was more of "an Old Hall's up of it all!" strapline requirement?

Just watched the round of BSB on DVD from a friend and was amazed by the amount of fallers at Oulton Park. Shakey did an amazing job in both races I thought..... however I'm pleased to see even the best get caught out at 'The Lodge'.
