I thought that Shakey could end up at Aprilia with Biaggi...

Aprilia did owe him one after the heap of s***e they gave him for MotoGP; but now he's got Max's seat.

I just hope he gets parity with the factory team with the bikes.

I really wanted Shakey to have Bayliss's seat in the Factory team and see Tardozzi do his work of a fantastic team manager, make Shakey into a great champion like Foggy and Bayliss.Ducati's decision to run with Haga next year,IMO will be a mistake,he will fall off it and break it(aprillia have been quoted that he wrecked everything he touched when he rode for them!) Jap rider who may become champ on a italian bike will cause a **** storm and to be honest doesnt run with the script very well!!!

Hmmmm...think you'll find that Nori rode for Renegade Ducati in WSBK in 2004 and was pretty much up there for the championship until the last round.

unless you are the Japanese Ducati distributor of course Japan is one of the biggest markets for Ducati and i can see why they would want Haga on a factory Ducati over Shakey.

Have to agree Haga is none too sympathetic with machinery tho - we were over the pit garages in Brno in WSBK this year - Haga had some kind of problem on the sighting lap and came down pit lane - he had already dismounted the bike whilst it was still rolling to grab his spare bike, and the R1 just crashed over on to its side outside the pit garage....
