So how are JHP racing the 1098 this year? it must be do-able but GSE have decided they want more revs so need those pistons yet the Buildbase 1098 did OK. Why can't GSE run the bikes but with less revs/piston speed? surely the whole point of this was to soften the tune?

that won't happen there are loads of folk happy to watch just the japanese brands plus you'll have Aprilia in 09. Ducati fans are the losers just like AMA this season

Hell boys that's a dissaster. I've tried to understand this and it seems Ducati have errrer here and made a mistake as I though they had commited F08 to Airwaves for next year in BSB, surely they knew the rules, since they we part of the process..

In the past I understand that the 999R and the 999F0? were nothing like each other. Is this right? And that you could get a racing kit for the R but that addition would not make it an F0? or even put it close in terms of spec. Is this right? What championship was the R developed and homologated to race in?, Most domestic national championships around the world only allowed the S to race in superstock format and so suggesting that the R was not a stock bike???? Was the F0? then homologated every year to meet WSBK, AMA and BSB rules?

What about the 1098F08 that Troy is going to ride - the homologation rule volumes for 2008 were huge like 1000 and then an addition 5000 or so in a year or something like that?? Must these be F08 to be eligible or 1098R?

As I said I'm now so frikken confused!!!
