Ducati servicing in Norwich?

Hi all, my 900ss is due a service and was wondering where to get it serviced in Norwich. I am aware of Seastar but wondered if there was anywhere else to consider. Is there any independant ex Chris Clarke mechanics out there?

You could do worse than to get hold of Carl Harrison in Harleston 01379 852020, he's prob the nearest.....

Carl is ex Chris Clark and comes very highly recommended, and I used him yesterday.

Just curious what are they quoting for a service my local Ducati dealer quoted in the region of £300 for a 10,000km service seems a bit OTT to me.

Yep, just over £300 at Seastar.

Ducati 2 valvers are easy to work on, why not do your own services then? Belts, valve clearances, oil, filter, plugs and a good once over.....

Carl Harrison for sure .
Would not dream of going anywhere else.
After 1 hour in Seastars they did not know and could not find the torque setting of the rear wheel on my 916. SCARY

Cars yes (i have several). I prefer to leave it to the professionals. I am an engineer by trade but i prefer to have some work carried out by a garage.

I trained as a precision engineer, but by the time I had bought the special drifts required (and paddock stands which I know I will need eventually) and waited for the bearings to turn up, it was well worth paying Carl £30 to fit them.

I spent a pleasant time chatting to fellow Ducatisti and got a brilliant ride home.

I would not let anyone other than Carl Harrison and James, who works with Carl (ex-Chris Clark too) work on my bike.

He sorted out my ST4 and I have just bought a 916 from him.
