Dealers and Workshops Have you say about the Ducati Dealer or Bike Shop near you. How good was the spanner man, what was the price, or did you get a discount?

i just had my first service and spent ages asking questions and ringing round the houses, the lads on this site give great advice. Heres my experiences.

Motoline are just down the road from me too, i picked up a rear puncture ages ago and seeing as i wanted to do oil and filter change i popped down to pick up a few things and ask questions about oils etc, the guys there were really professional, made me feel at home especially as i dont look like your average ducati owner. They repaired the tyre over my lunch break and gave me sound advice for the work i wanted to do on the bike. The only down side is that they are expensive.

Just had my 12,000 service (but with out a fork refresh), Motoline wanted silly money, i enquired at pro twins who were cheaper but not by much, i didnt go over to them as some guys my parents know in the industry didnt recommend it. I would have used Moto Rapido but they are just too far away. I went up to essex to Tec Moto, who were really good, got some change from £550 and that included brake pads on top of everything. Nice people of obviously know what they're talking about and they gave me a lift to and from the station.

In Kent we have 2 choices:

Travel a long way to your Ducati dealer of preference.

Travel a short distance to Motorline. They are the only Ducati dealers in Kent and will be for the forseeable future. My bike is booked in for a big service on 2nd September, and my quote is high...Richard the mechanic is a good bloke. He used to work for Powerhouse on my KTM Superduke and he did a good job. If you do decide to use them then do ask for a discount on servicing. It will come, eventually.

I have used DHR in Dover for a valve clearance check, £129 which was not too bad.
I have not used them for servicing as I do most of it myself. They do have a Ducati trained mechanic there and the shop is always full of bikes, including a fair few Ducati's which is a good sign. They are always friendly and helpful.
The owner has an 848 so he likes them.

Hi mate,

I'd opt for Ducati Motorline Ashford

but then again I'm biased as Richard the mechanic is my brother in law!! (HJWORTON I'll tell Richard that your happy with his work, compliments are always nice to receive)

you takes your choice and spend your money, Dukes are never cheap are they

Things are changing at Motorline, for the better. The guys there now know their stuff and will see you right.
