| Dealers and Workshops Have you say about the Ducati Dealer or Bike Shop near you. How good was the spanner man, what was the price, or did you get a discount? |

TecMoto in Essex
hi guys,
Ive done a search which rated these guys very highly, but there is very little since the new owner took over the business.
I actually popped in there to meet them on saturday, and i was very happy with richard who took time to give advice about buying a ducati, and was very enthusiastic, which was refreshing to see and even let me into the workshop to demonstrate what to look for when buying.
Ive now bought a 749 and would like to use him, but ofcourse id love to hear lots of good praise for him too.
Please post any comments.
Thanks!

got the bike back from richard at tec moto. Very good service, is very keen to talk about bikes all day long which is good, shows he enjoys his work.
He fitted My termi system, 2 new tyres, and oil and filter change.
recommended!

hi james,
Well its an unfair comparision, the GSXR1000 is so so SOOO much quicker, in every way.
I sold that and bought the ducati as an impulse buy, and im enjoying it. I didnt buy it for outright speed.
It does nothing as well as the GSXR, but looks alot nicer and feels special, so im happy with that.
anyway im a convert, and will get a 1098 next year.

Not yet, its booked in next week. I did however remove the covers and inspect, they look in great condition. gave them a thorough check up close, and the tension is still perfect.
Will get em done anyway with a service.

Fair enough, completely different bikes. What made you choose the 749 over the 999?

Used TecMoto recently and thought they were one of the best outfits I've come across. Excellent customer service.
Rosso Corse and Morespeed racing are the only other outfits I've been really impressed by.

Just got back from having my belts replaced and the 'big' service.
Once again nothing but praise. Had some pazzo levers fitted too for free, plus a great deal on the overall price.
Richard has alot of time for people, and i was there for 2 hours talking about all sorts of random stuff, not just bikes.
if you havent already been there, then id highly recommend you visit tecmoto, truly awesome and enthusiastic service.
