Peak Performance Motorcycles Exeter

Following advice from one ex racer and one ex top race mechanic, I am investing a modest amount of time and money to get the suspension of my recently acquired 999S set up by experts.

So it's off tomorrow morning to Peak Performance in Exeter - who come highly recommended.

I'll keep you posted as to how I get on.

Bud

I would be interested to hear how you get on, thinking of using them myself on my 999s and GSXR 750

Thumbs up Job Done

Just had the work done. The bike has been transformed from good to sublime!

The attention to detail was terrific and I now have a sheet with all the settings listed.

So I can thoroughly recommend a trip to Peak to see Steve.

So what has he done and what did he base the changes on? Oh, and how much?

You'd need to call them for the details; especially for information about what he adjusted at the back and the sequence; but he checked and adjusted front and back - taking acount of my weight and riding style.

You'd need to speak to Steve about cost but £40 ish + VAT

Sorry I can't be more specific, but I don't want to give you any wrong information.

ps Some of the settings were quite a bit out for a rider of my weight. Too hard at the back with not enough damping apparently.

Steve Whitear is a top man Bud and will blow your mind with suspension info. Been taking my bike's to him for years. He's a great bloke for tyre advice and fitment as well.

Dan
It was a pleasure just to watch him at work.
It's always good to see a top pro doing what he's been trained to do.
Hugely impressed

Bud

Did they do the work whilst you waited?

Can you give us an idea how long they took.

Cheers

Andy

Yes. It took Steve a couple of hours, with a break for a coffee and a couple of brief interludes when other customers came in.
But as I said; worth watching a true expert at work.
