CASOLI - 'WARNING' - They've Disappeared!

Sunny day, took the MV to work and thought I'd pop to Casoli in Barnet to see if they had any goodies to tempt me. Does anyone else know anything about this?

The name has changed to Bikestop or something (about 4 months ago) and when I asked if Casoli had moved. I was told:

• They had been slung out
• They had disappeared with stock INLUDING customers bikes
• The police are now looking for them
• People are still ordering off their website and not getting what they ordered

The guy said he thinks they are operating out of a lock up somewhere...

...SO BEWARE DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM CASOLI

Cheers for that Frenchy, I know of a person in the US that is trying to order so I've pointed them to this post.

I've got some Casoli kit on my MV, Carbon fibre seat unit actually, it's OK but not the best I've seen, perhaps that kind of thing aided their demise

It's funny you know, when I went there they seemed such nice chaps, butter wouldn't melt and all that. They even had a stand at the NEC, it just goes to show. Anyway, there may be a very simple explanation for them disappearing with customer bikes and all that stock.

"Dave - its not my fault - Miles " is now in the USA!!!!

interestingly their website www.casolimotousa.com (USA) is nowhere to be seen but the UK one www.casoli.co.uk can still be accessed and you can, if you are feeling generous enough, send them your credit card details - ONLINE!!!!!!!!

Spoke to the owner a few years ago at the Ally Pally show and bought a carbon airbox off him. Seemed like a genuine enthusiastic bloke at the time, just goes to show how good a judge of character I am!

He said at the time he had a place in the States and supplied a lot of stuff to owners out there and that he lived over there most of the year, only returning every now and again for shows and stuff, I guess he made enough bucks to stay! Sorry for anyone who might have lost a bike though, that's not right and if it's true I hope they throw the book at him when they catch him.

i was speaking to the owner this time last year and he told me he was packing up the retail shop, but that he might continue servicing around the rear of the shop, and that he had another unit in Bushey,Herts.Somehow i do not think he spent much time in the USA.Had my bike serviced there once and they did a fair job,but nothing in comparison to Baines racing.
