Riders (Bridgwater, Somerset)

I have just bought a 04 999 from Riders, traded in my Monster M600, I must say that I have been very happy with the whole deal.
The swop was set for 9th March, however rain on salt encrusted roads gave me pause for thought. I rang Riders the day before with my concerns, no problem they would deliver if I prefered. The morning of the 9th started fine and I was set to go...but the rain started again before I could So I rang to say I had chickened out. "OK no problem we'll drop off the 999 and pick up the Monster, see you shortly"
Which they did . Come Sunday when I went to start the bike, she no want to play, battery not holding charge. On Monday morning I ring Riders, who promptly sent man over with new battery and to check charging system. Having done this he then polishes bike while a make coffee
Have now been able to go for a proper ride out and, man, this bike is FANTASTIC
Riders rang me this morning (20th) to make sure that everything was now OK and that I was happy with the bike...unfortunate about the battery, but good response. Well done Riders

I've never bought anything from Riders of Bridgewater but I have visited it a few times to check out the Dukes. (It started as a Harley Dealership and is now 3/4 Harleys and 1/4 Ducati.) However when I had my piston ring problems I called them up for some advice over the phone, they were very helpfull, gave the advice for free..... although they sounded bloody expensive, but I guess that's just a Dealer habit! BBbbbaaaaaaa Humbug!

Serve good food, which is extremely important in my world!!!!

Meet at Riders

Great idea. Being a shift worker I do work a lot of week-ends, but lets give it a try

I'm up for a meet, but best post any arrangements in the I'm Going For A Ride, You Comin'? forum. I work for the NHS so I'm always at work, but I'll see what I can do once we have a date in mind.

Send a message via MSN to Diamond
This will be my nearest dealer, and being new to ducati ownership i don't wanna be shafted by the dealer when it comes time for a service. Anyone any views good or bad on there servicing cost and customer service?

There okay Diamond - although I prefer to go elsewhere myself.

Think they are more into Harleys.

Good cafe thou......
