Re: Any near Grantham.

If you need the stamp on your warranty book, take the bike to ItaliaMoto in Lincoln.
Alternatively,if you are out of warranty you could do a lot worse than take it to an idependant specialist like Cornerspeed in Kirkby-in-Ashfeild near Nottingham.

I`m going to try conerspeed thanks!

Italiamoto seem to charge the earth, in my service book they charged the previous owner £160 inc vat for an oil change. Twice!! And £600ish for the service and valve check.

Hmm,Italia charge the official recommended service prices by Ducati. They do 'discounts' for regular customers tho. A good bunch of lads.
As for Cornerspeed,I have known Neil for a while and his attention to detail is second to none.I have never heard a bad word against him,...well apart from not having real milk for the tea's!
Your bike will be in good hands there.

If you fancy a trip down the A1 go to St Neots Motorcycles. They are really helpful and passionate about Ducs.

Bike: ST4s - "Pavarotti"

Charging Twice

Just shows that the previous owner did not pay attention to detail - if he/she didn't pay attention to an invoice, how much attention did they pay to their pride n joy??

Lets be honest, any retailer can press the button on the computer twice and make a mistake on an invoice - not defending any retailer - it is just human error. And no I'm not part of Italiamoto, but I do know an awfull lot of folks who like me are extremely satisfied with the service and care we receive from Phil Worth and his team.

I bought my Ducati from there, and I travel a 1,500miles round trip every time to have it serviced there. If the price was too high, or the servicing quality not high enough, or they deliberately charged me twice I would not do that - every year for 5 years now.

Just wanted to introduce some balance to this thread.
