Bike: Ducati Monster 600m and 600ss DD bike

Thanks for the welcome - I have a lump in my throat I have been very slow on the take up. This looks like a good site

I can't wait to get out there this year although I havn't ridden a bike for months so I am errr slightly dubious whether I still know how!!!

Anyway I have Brands Hatch booked up with No Limits on the 16th Feb so I hope the weather is half decent so I can get a feel for the new bike.

Ah...talking about the bike i have purchased AK47's 600ss to use this year. As he did so well on it last year i have no excuses

Work so far:
  • Been to Baines for a service and to swap oil cooler from the monster to the ss.
  • Replacement tank sources (as the existing one was leaking) and should be arriving back from the spary man today ready for me to fit it for next weeks track day.
  • Full 996 style fairing and seat unit being prepared and painted ready for the new season. That should arrive next Friday.
  • Front wheel to be repainted. Does anyone know anyone close
I would post some pics but there's not much to look at yet but as soon as it starts to take shape I will gladly put some up here. Hopefully it will be a lot more 'together' than my last effort

CK - AK - I hope your pre-season is going well.

cheers for now

Hi Gilps. Hi Zimbo. Yes, I made the change of bike but will it have any bearing on my riding

I have to say that I rode a road going 600ss and really liked it which is what sold me on it

Look forward to seeing you all....can't wait

Bike: Bikeless :(

It seems the 600SS is the weapon of choice in Class B. But who will take theirs to the championship title?!

Good luck Franco, I hope your new steed gives you the improvements you're after. And I'll see you on track!

Woohoo!
