Megga Thanks To All

Ello You very lovely Peeps, can I just start by shouting

HOW ****** BRILLIANT WAS THAT!

I am still buzzin from my first ever races and meeting such an utterly fine bunch of folks as yourselves .

I was overwhelmed by how friendly and accepting you all were of me (a stranger in the camp) and how I was made to feel like I'd been racing for years with you all, within about half an hour of arriving. I do plan to do a report asap but really want to send a big shout out and thanks to David (The General ) for housing me and the bike for the day, giving bags of advice and much needed reassurance as well as sorting me a set of last minute belts. Ghost for fitting my last minute belts! in the end becoming my mechanic for the day (sorry David) whilst being everyone elses at the same time, your a god! Douglas for being around at exactly the times when I was a headless chicken and feeling that my racing was over before it had even started, for having the absolutely stunning idea of taking my completely flat dead knackered battery and replacing it with a battery from inside my jumpstarter pack, it fitted perfectly and got me through race two, your another god! Ghost and Douglas together are a powerful combination. Harri for flitting around offering bags of reassurance, grabbing race results for us and always having buscuits, cake and other goodies in her hands to keep us going, (where was it all coming from? sorry I wouldn't eat one of your very fine bacon butties but I was too nervous to eat anything!) your a goddess. I met so many people all of whom added to the overall sweet flavour of my day. I got positive comments on the bike, which really surprised me due to the overall high standard of machines out there, made all the hard work worth while.
I'm sorry that I can't remember all the names or all who I met but thank you ALL so much for helping me achieve a dream on sunday

To say I'm looking forward to Oulton is an historic understatment, I CAN'T FREEKIN WAIT!!!

Well done to all the other racers in both classes and GWS to all those who bit the dust

Dan, great to meet you in the flesh (fully clothed) and very well done on a good couple of races at your first meeting. I'm sure I saw a picture of your right slider getting worn down a little!

You were a pleasure to do the work for James, level headed with just the right amount of fear factor. Well done.

Great to meet you James, and roll on Oulton for more of the same.

I second your praise for Ghost and Douglas, the day wouldn't have been the same without their support and technical expertise, thanks guys!

Good to meet you James, and the friendliness of the paddock is the main reason why I decided to have a go at DD this year too.......like you said, roll on Oulton !
