If I come and say Hi, don't be offended if I ask when you need to be at the collecting area as my first question.

I didn't know what I was doing at Mallory and just kept following people wearing leathers, I eventually got to all the right places in time.... then I found myself on a race track waiting for some lights to go out and wondered if I'd really thought this through, but too late by then.

If anybody sees me at any of the races please come and say Hello but I'll apologise in advance for not remembering all you have written on the site as I kinda have a lot to read these days. At Mallory I met up with Hughdg (I think) who's been on the site for six months but could I remember anything he'd written, could I hell as like..... made myself look a right fool, sorry Hugh but it was really good to meet you and hope to do so again in the future .

Kenoir your idea of name badges at the NEC was an inspired one and made things real easy.

Excellent post, HB.

You did forget to mention the various techniques used by Ducatististo encourage acceptance by the tense D.D. riders which seem to range from bringing lemon drizzle cake to wielding scaffold poles!

Good day out though - hope to do a few more this year if I can stay fit and well for more than a week .

Mike

Dan makes a very good point.

Generally lots of people come and say hello but they don't tell me who they are. They know me as I have numbers on my bike and a big pink 'LILY' on my leathers but they assume I will know them or remember them. No offence but you tend to just be a lot of blokes in leather.

Come over, say hello and tell me who you are and give me some clue that will help me remember such as where you live or what bike you ride or anything.. oh and remember that you need to tell us forum name and real name or we will be none the wiser!

Don't worry LILY, I have trouble remembering who I am most of the time, I couldn't possibly ask any more of others!

Yes it was me Dan, don't worry it's quite normal for pre-race butterflies to block out anthing other than thoughts about what is about to happen. Catch up with you at Brands all being well.
